A MILLION TREES is an initiative by Fashion UK, a world-leading supplier of licensed apparel to the retail sector, in partnership with Veritree. Our aim is to improve the health of the planet by helping to restore vital ecosystems.

Our commitment
In December 2025, Fashion UK signed a contract to fund the planting of 1 million mangrove trees across verified restoration projects in East Africa by the end of 2026.
Planting work in progress
Planting began in April 2026. More than half of the trees have now been ordered, with 1,167 estimated work days provided through the restoration project so far to date.
Community impact
The project locations are in East Africa, across Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. Across the Healthy Forest team involved in this restoration project to date, 61% are women.
Planet protection
Based on Veritree project modelling, the trees planted to date are estimated to absorb 144,667 tonnes of CO2 over their lifetime, as these trees grow and mature over time.
